Hell, someone's gotta do it. Here's another live concert poll: what are the five best concerts you attended in the Monterey area? My list:

1. Monterey Jazz Festival (any year): a no brainer
2. Cold Blood at the State Theater: forgot which year, but it was like 1972 or '73
3. Stevie Ray Vaughan at the Santa Cruz Civic, 1987 or so. Man what a loss when that helicopter went down. I've seen a lot of great blues guitarists (including Clapton). SRV was the best.
4. Robert Cray at the Mountain Winery, in the mid-80s. Ron Bispo can tell you about that one.
5. Well, I gotta list Elvin Bishop in the PG gym, don't I? I remember Del Cram called him "Elvis Biscuit."

Nah, I was trying to get people to post in the forum and get it going. Putting the poll on the home page defeats the purpose.

Now I get it - I told you I don't understand these thread thingys.  I will remove the poll from the home page and hopefully you will get some other results.
